Do antidepressants prevent hair growth?

I was put on three different antidepressants when I was 16. I'm now 18. I noticed that my hair stopped growing around the time I was 16. My hair was also very dry at the time. During September I was finally taken off antidepressants. I can't really tell if my hair has grown or not because I have very curly hair that is thick. I do notice that the back of my hair hasn't grown (or atleast somewhat grown) in like 5-6 years but that's because when I was 12 I had a HUGE knot in the back so I had to go to the salon and get it untangled (Ouch! Was very painful!). I think that's why the back of my hair is shorter than the rest. Compared to when I was on medications my hair looks more healthy. Do antidepressants affect hair growth?
