Question for guys..does he like me or not?

This guy at the gym who I've exchanged glances with a few times was coming down the stairwell, on his way out of the gym, just as I was walking up the stairs into the gym. I can't remember if my ipod earphones were in my ears or not. I think I was untangling the cord. I can't remember because I was just so excited to see him up close. Anyway, like an idiot, I put my head down because I was a bit nervous and he passed by me, and that was it. While I was working out, I was thinking that if he were interested in me, he would have either said something to me and/or come back up to work out again just to see me. Does the fact that he said nothing and left the gym just as I was headed into the gym, prove that he absolutely is disinterested? If you liked a girl and you were that close to her, wouldn't you say something? Also, wouldn't you go back into the gym just to see her and be near her?
