How to turn off push bar light of Chamberlain wall control?

If your Chamberlain Door Opener is new, you should still have the paperwork for it. Call their help number and ask them how to get it off. I think they are in Ohio,USA. Or they used to be. You can also try going to their website. It's a new unit and you wouldn't want to break it by accident. I am with you on that one though,it is a waste of energy and does cost money. Ours has a button to turn the bar light off but it is a Genie. Good Luck
